Total Trip: 12 Nights and 13 Days from Arrival to departure (Kathmandu to Kathmandu).

Seasons: March to May and September to November months, wet months from mid-June to mid-September falls within Monsoon time with heavy rains and dark clouds to obstruct the views and walks. March to May the best time when morning to mid-day with clear fine weather for views and walks with mild temperatures, right times for treks to Mardi Himal and around Annapurna region with wildflowers in full bloom times, especially the rhododendron flowers. Rhododendron from tall trees to bushes with flowers that blossom of various species and colors that decorate the hill and valleys (national flower of Nepal). October to November months another best time for treks around autumn/fall and pre-winter where days are clear for views as well right temperatures for walks, can be cold during night and morning times with chances of snow in high areas of Annapurna above 1,800 meters high.

Outline Itinerary:

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.

Day 02: Tour of Kathmandu heritage sites of great interest.

Day 03: Fly or drive to Pokhara 860 m -06 hrs journey (30 mins by air)

Day 04: Drive to Kande walk to Deurali 2,145 m via Thulo Kharka (Australian Camp) - 02 hrs drive and 04 hrs treks.

Day 05: Trek to Kokar Forest camp 2,520 m Deurali 2,145 m - 05 hrs.

Day 06: Trek to Badal Danda / Low Camp 2,970 m - 05 hrs.

Day 07: Trek to High Camp 3,700 m - 05 hrs.

Day 08: At High Camp for the hike to Mardi Himal base camp above 4,500 m.

Day 09: Trek to Low Camp for an overnight stop - 04 hrs.

Day 10: Trek to Siding village 1,750m - 05 hrs.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.

On arrival at Kathmandu international airport received by Yeti Mountain staff and guides for short transfer to your hotel in the center of Kathmandu city around interesting Thamel area or nearby. On checking into your rooms getting refreshed briefing of the treks with other useful information, with welcome dinner in nice Nepalese restaurants with cultural programs.

Day 02: Tour of Kathmandu heritage sites of great interest.

Morning by 9 a.m. where our city guide will take you for an interesting tour around great places steeped with world heritage sites and monuments, after a half day or full day tour back to hotel preparation for the treks.

Day 03: Fly or drive to Pokhara 860 m -06 hrs journey (30 mins by air).

Morning as per the group size either in comfortable tourist coach or in chartered cars where a drive leads to warmer low farm areas to reach Nepal Mid-West at Pokhara by the shore of beautiful Phewa Lake. Where all nice hotels located with views of lakes and Annapurna peaks overnight in the comfort of good hotels in Pokhara near to Phewa Lake.

Day 04: Drive to Kande walk to Deurali 2,145 m via Thulo Kharka (Australian Camp) - 02 hrs drive with 04 hrs treks.

After Pokhara with grand views of Annapurna Himalaya range with Machhapuchare peaks ' Fish Tail' having breakfast drive beyond Pokhara to commence to start our first day walks. Journey heads past farm villages and towns and then a cooler hill village at Kande, where follows uphill into cool shade of forest for an hour to reach at beautiful in Australian Camp, local name as Thulo Kharka, means a large cattle grazing field, a scenic spot surrounded by alpine woodland with super panorama of Annapurna-Manaslu with top of Dhaulagiri Himal includes views of towering Machhapuchare Himal or Fish Tail. From here the walk continues downhill and short ups to Potana village for overnight stop facing glorious views of Machhapuchare Himal with Mardi rock and ice peak.

Day 05: Trek to Kokar Forest camp 2,520 m Deurali 2,145 m - 05 hrs.

Morning views of Annapurna range morning a slow climb into forest to reach at Deurali at 2,150 m high facing grand views of landscapes and mountains, our route diverts from the main trail at Deurali heading into hidden pockets of Annapurna Himalaya to reach at Kokar or Forest / Jungle Camp for overnight stop after a pleasant scenic walk of the day.

Day 06: Trek to Low Camp 2,970 m - 05 hrs.

From here into dense woods of tall rhododendron-hemlocks-oaks-magnolia and pine trees where some of the time during walks on high ridges view of peaks blocked by tall tree lines, as our walk slowly follows the hidden trails within tranquil environment with glimpse of peaks around open areas then reaching a small place within a forest clearing at Low Camp for overnight stop.

Day 07: Trek to High Camp 3,700 m - 05 hrs.

Morning views then towards mountains where tree lines drop for short bushes and shrubs with dwarf rhododendron and facing towering Machhapuchare Himal ‘Fish Tail’ with Mardi Himal at close distance. Slowly walk heads to higher ridges to reach High Camp for an overnight stay, a place with few simple good lodges for trekkers and adventurer, afternoon at leisure to enjoy marvelous views of grand landscapes and snow-capped mountains.

Day 08: At High Camp for a hike to Mardi Himal base camp above 4,500 m.

At High Camp leisure day for a hike to the base of Mardi Himal, morning walk follows on a faint trail with the grassy path then reaching the high ridge of Mardi Himal Base facing panorama of surrounding peaks of massive Annapurna range. Located right at the bottom of towering South Face of Machhapuchare Himal ‘Fish Tail’. Enjoy the grand views on the highest spot of the adventure at above 4,495 meters high within pristine wilderness of giant mountains and the retrace the walk back to High Camp.

Day 09: Trek to Low Camp for an overnight stop - 04 hrs.

After completing the walk to reach our main highlight destinations where morning walk follows downhill back on the same route to reach into forest areas at Low Camp for an overnight stop.

Day 10: Trek to Siding village 1,750m - 05 hrs.

Morning walk with long descend further down lower warmer valley to reach at Sidang village, as walk follows on the same route for sometimes within densely forested area, and then taking a new fresh route with more downhill towards farm areas and villages to Sidang for overnight stop, located near to the road head for next morning drive towards Pokhara.

Day 11: Trek and drive to Pokhara 850 m 02 hrs rides.

Last day around farm villages, morning a short drive back to Pokhara, as drive leads past smaller farm villages and towns and then at beautiful scenic Pokhara for overnight stops by famous serene Lake Phewa.

Day 12: Drive or fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.

Morning transfer for the journey back to Kathmandu where a drive leads on the scenic and interesting road past farm villages and towns and then uphill to reach Kathmandu valley and the city. After an exciting drive of 5-6 hours reaching Kathmandu and transfer to hotel with afternoon free for individual activities.

Day 13: International departure for homeward bound.

Last day in Nepal the country of Himalayan wonders and impressive cultures, as your international flight time transfer to the international airport in Kathmandu for home-ward bound or to respective destinations, after a memorable experience on Mardi Himal Base Camp Trekking around Annapurna Himalaya with great services of Yeti Mountain Treks.
