Langtang-Gosaikunda Trek |

The valley of Langtang is protected as the Langtang National Park. Langtang is a narrow valley that lies just north of Kathmandu. A visit to the Langtang valley offers an opportunity to explore Tamang villages to climb small peaks and to visit glaciers at a comfortably low elevation. Helambu Trek |

This is the most easily accessible trekking region. The Helambu trek starts from Sundarijal and makes a loop through Sherpa country. It does not, however, offer fine mountain views. |
