The Royal Trek |
||||||||
|
This
is an easy, short trek that starts near Pokhara and offers good mountain
views. It's an excellent trek to do as it does not entail any particular
long waling days and there's always plenty to see Nepalese village and
the mountains. It is not a heavily trekked area giving all its beauty
to one alone. As one is walking along the peaceful ranges with terraced
hills all around, you will see colorful flora and fauna, beautiful landscape,
eagles |

This trek has gained its name the 'Royal Trek' because Prince Charles of Britain walked through it along with anentourage of 90 guests, camping followers and staff in 1980's. However,
there are no village accommodations along this lodging route, thus member
do this trek with our guided trekking groups. We have designed the 6 days
Royal trek for those people who have little time and interested to see
Nepalese village life and the mountain. |

of
Manning (3351 m.) before crossing
the Throng-La (5407 m.). When you reach the pass, line after line of snow
ridges
stretch before you while far below lies the sub-tropical Kali Gandaki
Gorge. From the heights of the Pass we descent to Muktinath and its sacred Buddhist and Hindus shrines. Further south, the contrast of the Nepal Himalaya becomes even more apparent as forests or mandarin and banana groves replace high windswept passes. Finally we trek out of the forges and look back to the peaks of the Annapurna And Dhaulagiri before traversing the forest ridges down to Pokhara. |
